Centre for Science and Education "Ecology of Power Engineering" is a structural division of the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" (MPEI). In 2017 the Information and Analytical Centre "Ecology of Power Engineering" of MPEI, working since 1999, was renamed as REC "Ecology of Power Engineering". It's a legal successor of the additional education programs, developed and realised in the Centre of Training and Retraining "Ecology of Power Engineering" of MPEI, established in 1997.
The Centre is a member of the World wide Coal Combustion Products Network (WWCCPN) and an affiliated member of the European Coal Combustion Products Association (ECOBA).
